Quit Your Job - 2026
My 3rd Year final film on the Edge Hill University Animation BA(Hons.) course. Exploring the life of a werewolf forced to work overtime on the night of the full moon, the short explores themes of work-life balance and misogyny in the workplace - through the lens of a paranormal comedy.
This production has drastically improved my animation skills - due in part to a developed understanding of ToonBoom Harmony. All visuals (animation, designs, backgrounds, etc.) were designed, animated and illustrated by me - meaning I developed skills in a variety of areas, including character design and animated character movement.
Forest Backgrounds - 2025
A second-year project at Edge Hill University, where I was tasked with producing 3 animated environments with a fantasy theme - to be aired as a decorative backdrop to ‘Baby Bards’ events at Shakespeare North Playhouse. Inspired by the forest environment of my hometown, I created 3 looping animations with the theme of ‘what hides in the forest’.
This production allowed me to experiment with colour and lighting - testing different pallets until I was happy with each scenes magical, calm atmosphere. This is something I’d explore further in my third-year projects.
Development of ‘PumpKIN’ Group Project (2025)
My contributions in the production of ‘PumpKIN’ - An end-of-Second-Year project at Edge Hill University. This short video explores my contributions to the project, including character designs, clean-up, and my experience as led background artist/designer.
Through this production, I gained confidence in areas of production that I previously had little experience in (such as background design), as well as developing my team-working and communication skills.
