After reaching out to a number of local businesses offering Illustration services, a representative from Beetham Nurseries Garden Centre reached out and requested a series of illustrations for ‘The Great Autumn Treasure Hunt’ - a family treasure trail to take place on-location for Beetham Nurseries’ Apple Weekend 2026.

With this project being the first time I have collaborated with a business, I was keen to perfect each illustration, and create artwork that would be visually interesting, appeal to the young target demographic, and align with the brands design guidelines. With this in mind, I worked closely with the client across the 6-day turnover period, carefully sticking to the brief and maintaining consistent communication - including detailed discussion about composition, multiple design drafts, and stylistic experimentation.

Upon completion, I visited Beetham Nurseries to see the final results, and I was happy to see many families engaging in the Treasure Hunt. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome of this project, and proud of what I achieved within the short time window. As someone whose frequented Beetham Nurseries throughout my life, it’s been a real honour to have my designs and artwork displayed across the site, and to see fellow customers engage with the Treasure Hunt in the same way I remember doing as a child. Given the opportunity, I’d gladly work with them again!
